Twelve faceted pears of pale blue-lavender chalcedony are paired with faceted garnet ovals (4mm by 3 mm) and knotted into a variation of the "tin cup" or "floating" style on pale beige silk cord. The necklace has a 1.5 inch sterling extension chain and is secured with a sterling silver lobster clasp - allowing you to wear it at anywhere between 17 and 18.5 inches.
This piece has a very dressy, formal look. Perfect for a wedding, prom, or a glowing night out.
Chalcedony (kal-sed-nee) is a form of microcrystalline quartz. It can be found in many forms and colors and has been used since antiquity. As a gemstone, "chalcedony" is often used specifically to describe the white, gray, or blue translucent type of chalcedony. This stone has a beautiful waxy luster; a subtle glow.
Just for you: a one-of-a-kind design.
